Heinrich JOBST (1874-1943). Victor Ludorum, 1908. Vintage sand casting. Unique piece. Grey-brown patina. Inlaid glass eyes (hazel brown and opal white). With allegorical figures related to the chemical industry in high relief on the sides of the sock. Other images in bas-relief. Figure of a lion with the initials L.F.S. Signed H. JOBST enhanced after casting. Founder's mark: Brandstetter, München. Total height 92.4 cm. Presentation cast to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Sachtleben & Co. by Dr. August Theodor Rudolf Sachleben (Braunschweig, December 11, 1856 - July 6, 1917)
