Paul BRANDT (1883-1952). Wall console. Furniture design project, dated 1932. Drawing on Canson paper covered with tracing paper, black pencil, colored highlights, signed and dated. Dim. 36.5 x 25.5 cm.slight soiling. This project testifies to Paul Brandt's new orientation towards interior decoration from 1930 onwards. Model reproduced on p.171 in Paul Brandt by Bleue-Marine MASSARD published by NORMA. This console model with glass slabs supported by scrolled legs became an emblematic model for the artist.
