BAYSSELANCE, who was mayor of Bordeaux, was assiduously involved with the Bordeaux section of the C.A.F. and was responsible for guiding and maintaining the then few Pyrenean refuges. He left his name to one of these glorious "locomotives", now well modified and enlarged at the foot of the Vignemale.
