Ets Devillaine et Frères manufacturer - Devisix type Renault model, metal chassis and ivory-colored wooden body with red fillets. Bordino point bodywork, pedal drive, adjustable seat, dashboard with clock and speedometer, Ballon - Bergougnan rubber tires (250x40), electric lighting, external handbrake control, side exhaust line running all the way, red sky seat. Includes a call horn. Missing gray card. Length: 145 cm - Height: 54 cm Strictly original condition, very good patina despite its used condition. At the end of the 1920s, Établissements Devillaine et Frères (EDEF) inaugurated the Devisix name, associating the beginning of their family name with the number 6. The brand probably wanted to evoke the imposing 40hp six-cylinder of the diamond-shaped firm - with its new logo introduced in 1925 - but also to take up the commercial name of the most popular Renault NN, known as "6hp". These handsome toys were distributed by Bazar de l'Hôtel de Ville, Printemps and Etablissements Mestre et Bltatgé, the world's leading supplier of automobiles and velocipedes. Today, very few examples have survived, and even fewer in this admirably preserved condition.
