Officer's sword Copper filigree spindle. Line-decorated bronze frame with remnants of silver plating. Round pommel, single-branch guard, donkey step and two bolted quillons, and shell. Engraved, gilded and blued one-third flat-back blade. Late 18th century. A.B.E. S.F. (later spindle, reassembled)
