Senior officer's saber, type 1882, with the motto of the Marquis de Rambures
Handle in stingray with filigree. Iron mounting entirely chased with foliate scrolls, four-point hilt. Gold cap decorated with the motto "DEO DUCE FERRO COMITE". Curved blade with hollow sides. Single-bracelet iron scabbard.
