Archaeologists Find Evidence of a Medieval Pub in East Yorkshire, UK

After 3 weeks of excavations at the site at High Hunsley, near Beverley, assistant site director Emma Samuel told the BBC that many pottery beakers and jugs were found, suggesting there may have been a medieval alehouse there. A hostelry is another theory, as “carefully butchered” sheep and cattle bones were found.
