A former deputy director Art Sonje Center, Kim has been appointed director of this year’s edition of the South Korean art fair. Her appointment is seen to be congruous with the fair’s espousal of youth and experimental values, and it is hoped it will revitalize the Korean art scene and facilitate young artists.
