Isabey Design Destined for Napoleon’s Tableware Preempted at Drouot

Sold yesterday by Daguerre, Sèvres – Manufacture and National Museum preempted Jean-Baptiste Isabey’s design for Napoleon I’s table, taking it back to the place where it was originally intended to be manufactured. The round design featured Napoleon and Joséphine at the center, surrounded by friends and family.
