For its first sale at Drouot, the auction house is drawing on the reserves of 14 Rue Bergère, in Paris, built between 1878 and 1881 by a pupil of French architect and author Viollet-le-Duc (most famous for his restoration of Notre-Dame of Paris) and occupied by BNP Paribas.
