Lancelot-Théodore, comte Turpin de Crissé (1782-1859), Vue imaginaire d'un port antique, 1854 (Imaginary View of an Ancient Harbor, 1854), original monogram and date on the bottom center, "TT/1854", 107 x 161.5 cm (42.13 x 63.59 in); gilded wood and stucco frame with a painted cartouche containing the dedication "To Maurice de Marigny/In token of/my esteem and friendship/MDCCCLVI".
