The son of Vietnamese painter Lê Pho died of cancer on September 17, as confirmed by someone close to the artist. Le-Tan collaborated with several magazines in France and the United States, including New Yorker and Vogue, and he was the subject of a 2004 retrospective exhibition at The Reina Sofia museum in Madrid.
