Pair of Silver Plated Bell Covers France Circa 1870 Silver - Minerve hallmark - Total weight: 1.425 kg Engraved with the marriage coat of arms of Charpin-Feugerolles, Comtes de Souzy Height: 14.5 and 13.5 cm; Diameter: 20.5 cm Pair of silver cloches couvre-plats, the first with a socket decorated with a cauliflower au naturel, with leaves spread over the cloche, the second with a socket topped with an artichoke with slightly ajar leaves. The bells are engraved with the covenant arms of the Charpin-Feugerolle family, Comtes de Souzy, surmounted by a crowned helmet and framed by two angels each holding a gonfanon; a motto unfurls below their foot on a phylactery.
