D’aureville & Chameroy et Maison Barbot Amours clock, D'aureville & Chameroy and Maison Barbot, France, Circa 1860 Watchmakers (19th century) Signed D'Aureville & Chameroy, Maison Barbot Height : 27 cm ; Width : 21 cm ; Depth : 14 cm Beautiful Greek-style gilt-bronze clock resting on four lion-leg feet. Surmounted by two loves observing a plane. Biography : Maison Barbot, established on rue Chapon in Paris between 1840 and 1850, then rue Rambuteau in 1860, rue Saint-Maur in 1890, and finally rue de Bucy around 1900, specialized in the manufacture of inlaid wood and bronze clocks. They joined forces with D'Aureville and Chameroy, who supplied them with clock movements.
