They created a number of goldsmiths' pieces inspired by the magnificent services of the 18th century. For his first Paris exhibition in 1878, Georges Boin presented a toilet service inspired by the work of Pierre Germain. For the 1889 Exposition Universelle in Paris, he produced a number of dinner services, including one based on designs by the famous draughtsman and ornamentalist Juste Aurèle Meissonnier; as well as tea services in the Louis XIV and Louis XVI styles. He also presents a soup tureen and tray by Pierre Germain for the Jockey-club. The Maison Boin-taburet participated in numerous salons and exhibitions, notably those of 1878, 1889 and 1900. It thus contributed to the renaissance of 19th-century French silverware.
