Galerie EMMANUEL REDON SILVER FINE ART, founded in 1997, specializes in French silverware of the 19th and 20th centuries. This period in the history of the decorative arts was revealed in particular by the great universal exhibitions of the 19th century, and by the prestigious decorative art exhibitions of the first half of the 20th century.
At these exhibitions, France's greatest silversmiths were awarded the highest distinctions for their exceptional achievements. At the same time, new techniques of execution enabled the creation of original forms that appealed to the creativity of young goldsmiths.
The objets d'art presented by EMMANUEL REDON belong to these movements. They are signed by the greatest names in French silversmithing: ODIOT, CHRISTOFLE, FANNIÈRE, FROMENT-MEURICE, TÉTARD, PUIFORCAT, AUCOC, BOIN-TABURET, DUPONCHEL From sumptuous decoration to the most demanding purism, these works testify to the inexhaustible resources of French genius and unrivalled expertise.
My passion for artistic objects led me to become an expert in the field.
I'm passionate about the history of objets d'art
Having studied cinema at the very beginning of my professional life, I then worked mainly as an artistic photographer. I produced illustrations for art books.
Gradually, I took over my parents' trade. Being an antique dealer has enabled me to retain my taste for showcasing objects and creating stories. I love, for example, decorating tables with exceptional pieces.

Who was the master goldsmith who created it?
What is its place in the history of the decorative arts?
I'm a certified expert in my field
Thanks to my cultural background, I've become an accredited expert with several antiques and objets d'art appraisal companies. I am an accredited expert with the C.N.E. (Compagnie Nationale des Experts) and a member of the S.N.A. (Syndicat National des Antiquaires).
I have exhibited at numerous international trade shows, including the Biennale des Antiquaires in 2012 (set designer: Karl Lagerfeld) and 2014 (decorator: Jacques Grange).
During these events, or on other occasions such as the Prix du Livre d'Art, I had the chance to meet and exchange ideas with other heritage professionals.
All these contacts have enabled me to expand my knowledge or bring a fresh perspective to my business.

In the end, I decided to write a book to share my passion for antiques, and to help you discover the history of silverware (housewares, sauceboats, teapots, trays...).
In this story, I evoke the great decorative pieces (tableware, candelabras, jardinières, champagne buckets, etc.) that helped establish the French art of living!

The book, with its extensive iconography, has been translated into four languages.

Paiement
Selon que la vente est faite auprès d’un professionnel ou d’un particulier, s’appliquent les conditions générales de vente légales en vigueur pour le type de bien acquis, ainsi qu’une clause de réserve de propriété jusqu’au complet paiement du prix convenu.
S’il s’agit d’une vente à distance, les conditions générales de vente appropriées s’appliquent également, dans le cadre légalement défini des obligations du vendeur et de l’acquéreur pour le type de bien acquis.
Le paiement de tout achat se fait strictement au comptant dès réception de la facture de vente et uniquement par virement bancaire ou carte CB en présentiel, à notre galerie. Les paiements en espèces dans la limite de l’autorisation en vigueur et par chèques avec le délai imparti d’encaissement, accompagné de la copie de la carte d’identité ou du passeport de l’acquéreur. Chaque œuvre est munie d’un certificat d’authenticité, composé d’une photo et d’un texte descriptif.
Livraison
La livraison des œuvres, dans le monde entier, est incluse dans nos prix de vente. Elle sera effectuée dans les trois jours ouvrables suivant la réception du paiement en utilisant une société de transport et un service de suivi et de signature choisis par la galerie, sauf accord contraire. Par contre, la galerie n'accepte aucune responsabilité pour les droits d'importation et taxes éventuelles, qui sont exclusivement à la charge de l'acheteur.
MODALITE : Pour le transport, nous pouvons nous mettre d’accord pour un prix incluant assurances et transport tout compris.
Seules les taxes d’importation applicables dans chaque pays restent à votre charge.
L’emballage et le suivi du transport sont assurés par des transporteurs professionnels spécialisés en œuvres-d ’art.
Le transport se déroule de la façon suivante :
Une facture descriptive de l’objet vous est envoyée par e-mail ainsi que les coordonnées du transporteur.
Dès que nous avons reçu les transferts de la totalité du paiement de l’achat effectué, le transport est lancé et vous êtes informé du moment de la livraison.
Dès la réception du colis, vous devez vérifier l’état de la pièce et émettre des réserves au transporteur qui vous livre pour faire jouer l’assurance : sans cette démarche, l’assurance ne peut être activée, en cas de dommage pendant le transport. Mais, en toute évidence, nos pièces arrivent toujours en parfait état.

Solid silver Renaissance mascaron table set from the late 19th century, comprising the following five pieces:
A Légumier couvert Model N°1 in solid silver 1er titre, round in shape with fleur-de-lys and spearhead decoration in Renaissance style. The domed doucine lid is surmounted by a chased applique terrace and an openwork frételet. The lug handles on either side of the vegetable dish are pierced and adorned with a mascaron.

A solid silver "Renaissance" Model N°2 covered vegetable dish of circular shape, with applied spearhead decoration on the body and on the terrace of the lid, the grip of which is in the form of a monogrammed knob. The three-lobed handles, flanked on either side, are pierced with fleur-de-lis and a mascaron.
