CARDEILHAC - "RENAISSANCE" SILVER MASCARON TABLE SET LATE 19TH CENTURY Solid silver Renaissance mascaron table set from the late 19th century, comprising the following five pieces: A Légumier couvert Model N°1 in solid silver 1er titre, round in shape with fleur-de-lys and spearhead decoration in Renaissance style. The domed doucine lid is surmounted by a chased applique terrace and an openwork frételet. The lug handles on either side of the vegetable dish are pierced and adorned with a mascaron. - Dimensions: length to handles 34.5 cm - diameter 20.5 cm - height 13.5 cm approx. Weight: 1136 grams A solid silver "Renaissance" Model N°2 covered vegetable dish of circular shape, with applied spearhead decoration on the body and on the terrace of the lid, the grip of which is in the form of a monogrammed knob. The three-lobed handles, flanked on either side, are pierced with fleur-de-lis and a mascaron. Dimensions: length to handles 32 cm - diameter to neck 20 cm - Height 12.5 cm - Weight: 1,240 grams An octagonal rectangular dish in solid silver, "Fer de lance" model, with a mascaron head and spearhead decoration. Dimensions length 42 cm - width 28 cm - Weight : 1200 grams An octagonal rectangular dish in solid silver with spearhead and two mascaron heads. - Dimensions : length 45 cm - width 30 cm - Weight : 1350 grams A solid silver sauceboat, oval-shaped, flanked by two lateral handles pierced and decorated with a mascaron, on an octagonal adherent tray with spearhead decoration.
