Plaster, bronze, bust portrait of a Cossack. 1909 year. H-62 cm. A bust of highly artistic modeling, demonstrates a psychological portrait of a Cossack in a fur hat and gazyry. Buttoned tightly, ceremoniously facing the viewer in the front. The chin is proudly raised, but the look of tired and intelligent eyes is lowered and immersed in itself, as if in fate. Dramatic sculpting of a hat and a slight turn of the head create an amazing, piercing depth of the image; passions of doubt, obedience to purpose. The work has a high artistic value. Signed and dated 1909 on the back in the lower right corner. Width: 55cm, Height: 62cm, Depth: 35cm, Weight: 12kg, Condition: Signs of wear commensurate with age, Material: Bronzing, ID: 3050
