PIRIFORM GLASS TABATIERE BOTTLE
China, Qing Dynasty, 18th-19th century
In shaded green glass. Resting on a short annular hem. Slightly hollow underneath. Taking the form of a peach. It is carved with a very slight relief decoration: phoenix among bamboos on one side; lotus frog on the other side. It should be noted that the batrachian's gaze is animated by two black glass points. Cap with carved coral cabochon and spatula.
