L'empereur arbore le cordon et la plaque de l'ordre du Saint Esprit, dont il fut le premier récipiendaire après la rénovation de l'ordre sous Louis XVIII.
Provenance : succession de la famille de Krudener.

The Emperor is depicted with the Order of the Holy Ghost, the highest Order of Royal France. The Order was abolished during the French Revolution and restored by Louis XVIII after the restoration of the Bourbons in 1814. The first awarded order was the Russian Emperor Alexander I.
