Exceptional bronze sculpture. Circa 1880. "The Rowing Champion". Trophy of the Paris Cup 1898.
Signed by Eugène Hébert (1828-1893), the trophy is on a marble base surrounded by brass. Superb brown patina.
Very good condition. Length 81 cm. Museum piece.
