GALLANDAT M. (19th century): "Portrait of a Lance Officer of the Imperial Guard of Emperor Napoleon III", signed bd and dated 1863, in an important gilded and stuccoed wooden frame (a restoration and light repainted) - 163 x 128 cm. This officer, whose Regiment was created in 1855, wears a jacket called Kurka, a headdress called Chapska with a crowned N plate, 2 medals including the Italian Campaign of 1859 and Sardinian value.
