Paris, Imprimerie Chaix (rue Bergère), 1896-1900. 5 volumes in folio, illustrated green percaline from the publisher, modern box set. An important and superb collection of 186 (out of 240) lithographically reproduced posters, mounted on tabs, and 15 (out of 16) bistre drawings for the covers, making a total of 201 plates by the best French and foreign artists of the time. (146/154/156/157/164/165/166/168/169/170/173/174/175/176/185/186/187), i.e. 35 plates, of which 4 covers Volume 5. 17 missing (193/196/197/200/201/202/204/205/210/211/217/220/227/228/229/232/237) or 35 plates, of which 4 covers. Set preserved in the particularly original bindings of the publisher in canvas decorated according to the model of Paul BERTHON (some wear and tear), a board with rings. Among the 53 missing are 17 from Chéret and 5 from Mucha.
