This violin-shaped regulator has a white enamel dial signed Le Roy à Paris.
It shows the hours in Roman numerals and the minutes in Arabic numerals.
Julien Le Roy (1686-1759), received as a master, in 1713, in the guild of watchmakers of Paris.
He was appointed ordinary watchmaker to King Louis XV in 1739.
