ATTANEO Macaroni Italian style, BETTERWAY automaton, Vienna, Austria, and Antwerp, Belgium, 1930s. Automatic window display in painted cut-out wood, electromechanical 110 volt. It depicts a young man sitting in profile who devours a dish of macaroni while raising his leg. The movements are produced by a small rotary motor that drives pulleys, belts and rods. 56x55x25 cm.
