Charles de FERRIOL Collection of one hundred prints representing different nations of the Levant, taken from paintings painted after nature in 1707 and 1708, second edition, Paris, 1715. In-folio (51 x 34.5 cm) including the engraved title, the preface, Anecdotes of the embassy of M. de Ferriol, explanation of the figures, an engraved sheet of music (air on which the dervishes of Pera turn), plates 1 to 100 + 2 double plates engraved by Scotin, Haussard, Simoneau..., after J.-B. Van Mour, plates 46 and 49 are missing, plate 77 glued facing plate 1, very many freckles, wetnesses and stains on most of the plates, the three double plates very damaged, hardcover binding with leather spine and corners, damaged (Brunet III, 947-948).
