17th century furniture key.
The thick and flat ring is pierced with bird heads and chimeras leaning against it. The heads of chimeras joined together by a lace. The center of the ring is engraved with two dolphins whose tails meet. The ring rests on a large hump of flattened mud. Drilled triangular stem. Bit with protruding snout and rakes, pierced with cruciform fillings (wear).
