Early 17th century chased iron furniture key.
The oval ring, with its edges with a fretworked cut, is chiselled with foliage and has at its base two heads of nestlings leaning against each other, surmounted by a long baluster which crosses the top of the ring. Bossette with a broadly flared moulded section. Drilled triangular stem. Strong bit with a double projecting snout and a rake pierced by two spinning wheels.
