Chamberlain's key in chased and gilded bronze with the figure of Nicholas I Emperor of Russia. The richly chiselled ring of two eagles leaning against each other, their feathered wings widely spread and charged with armoured shields. In the hothouses of the birds, the sceptre and an armillary sphere. An imperial crown crowns the whole. The solid cylindrical stem is chiselled with leafy ribs over its entire surface and ends in a ball. The thin bit draws an X (accident, presented in two parts). Chiselled and gilded cast bronze, stamped for the ring, which is decorated on one side only. The ring has on the reverse side three small bells in suspension. Russian work with the figure of Tsar Nicholas I (1825-1855). Height: 15 cm Emperor of all Russia, of which many examples are known (with slight variations).
