Chamberlain's key in chased and gilded bronze from the 18th century.
The almost oval ring presents a chiselled outline of foliage enclosing an openwork monogram surmounted by a voter's cap. The ring is topped by a small sphere and rests on the octagonal top of a short baluster boss. A long drilled cylindrical stem finished with a long bit with an overhanging muzzle of low height that multiple fittings cut into five compartments. Numbered J.C.
