Bernard Boutet de Monvel (1881-1949) Little girl and her toothbrush, 1895 Original colored lithograph on fine vellum Signed in the plate Size 39 x 29 cm The sheet is hallmarked by the editor and the lithograph is also authentified by the editors dry stamp, L'Imprimerie Chaix The first edition was created in 1894 for the advert "Doctor Pierres Toothpaste" of the Paris Faculty of Medicine. The lithograph was edited by Les Maîtres de l'Affiche in the Imprimerie Chaix in 1895. It is part of a eponymous portfolio (plate n°26) representing the reproductions of the most beautiful posters illustrated by great artists of the time.
