In 1889, A. Osiński is an officer in the service of the Russian Imperial Army. During the First World War he fought at the front in Austria. In 1917 he took part in the formation of the Polish army in Russia and served in the Polish army from 1918. In 1919 General Osiński was appointed Inspector General of Infantry and in 1923 he became Minister of Foreign Affairs. He retired from the army in 1935 and became a senator in 1938. During the Second World War he settled in the United States and Great Britain and then returned to Poland in 1947.
