Standing, tilting her head slightly, the Virgin puts her right hand on her chest, spreading the pages of a book on a lectern with the fingers of her other hand. The base of the book is formed by a sheathed angel with clawed feet; she is dressed in a girdled robe and a mantle with one side coming back to the front. Second half of the 16th century
