CALICE in embossed, engraved and gilded copper. Six-lobed base decorated with the Instruments of the Passion and scrolls; shaft decorated with arcatures; flattened knot on the six sides bearing the inscription in Gothic letters ihs vere filius dei erat (Jesus was truly the Son of God). Roussillon, first third of the 16th century H. 22,7 cm Gilded decoration The shape of this chalice, with its poly-lobed base and flattened bow with sides, can be compared with the one kept in the church of St Julien and St Basilissa in Vinça (Pyrénées-Orientales).
