"Virgin and Child with Saint Anne". Carves wooden sculptural group. Flemish school. Gothic. 15th Century. Child in her lap. The Saint is seated on a throne in a frontal position, veiled, she smiles sweetly as she inclines her head. The Virgin Mary is in profile, crowned and with long, finely sculpted hair. In her hands she holds a bowl, making a gesture of offering food to the Child.
Provenance: Martí Mas Tubau collection, Barcelona. Acquired in Sotheby´s on 3/12/1997.
