In-8, lavaliere half-box with bands, dishes decorated with a geometrical mosaic decoration of wooden strips in two tones, untrimmed, gilded head, cover and back preserved, case (Pierre-Lucien Martin, 1961). Original edition. Unique edition at 39 copies : one of the first six numbered in roman numerals, signed by PAB (nº III). Frontispiece engraved with burin on celluloid by Pablo Picasso in double state, in black and blue, both signed by the painter. Very beautiful mosaic binding of the period by Pierre-Lucien Martin (Goeppert & Cramer, Pablo Picasso, catalogue raisonné des livres illustrés, nº 103: "On March 31, 1960, Picasso engraves on celluloid a face (that of Jacqueline Roque) formed by two profiles, one masculine and the other feminine. Benoit adds a poem admirably exploring the enigmatic aspects of this double portrait").
