Ovoid, with J-shaped curved band handles and cylindrical, overlapping muzzle neck, on a round, constricted base. Surrounding wall with capuchin brown and blue background, rich with raised gold decoration. Front side with four-part cartouche. This exquisitely colourful cartouche depicts a mythological scene: Hercules and Omphale with putto. Porcelain, at the bottom underglazed blue shield mark, year stamp. Provenance: "Dr. A.
