Vienna jug, Du Paquier 1717-44
Pear-shaped, on a round, constricted, profiled base ring. J-shaped handle in relief, gold lined. Protruding, domed lid. Colourfully painted all around with naturalistic insects in shadowy manner. Porcelain, no mark, incised "o". Probably painted by Johann Gottfried Klinger. Provenance: "Dr. A. Werner Collection", Austrian consul in New York.h=20,7 cm
