In-8 oblong cardboard box illustrated in publisher's colours, spine in beige cloth. Title illustrated in colour and 16 lithographs by Daumier, Belin, Platel and Plattier enhanced with watercolour, erased and mounted on tabs, taken from the Expression Sketches, published in the Charivari in 1838-1839 and published in the first edition by Aubert. Some small traces of light wear on the cardboard, if not a very good copy of this charming series which has lost nothing of its topicality and in which many parents of today will recognize themselves...
