Illustrated album of the French curators of the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition. Each plate represents a caricature of a member of the French Jury, with an explanatory caption, including a portrait of Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi (1834-1904), sculptor of the Statue of Liberty. He was one of the commissioners of the French delegation to the Centennial Exhibition in Philadelphia, where he exhibited several bronze statues.
Rare, only three copies are listed in OCLC: Bibliothèque Nationale, New York Public Library and Houghton Library at Harvard.
