The left wing depicting the Anastasis, three apostles and St. George spearing the dragon. The right wing showing the Crucifixion scene with Mary and St. John in the typical Ethiopian gesture of mourning and the two thieves. The lower section depicting Manfas Qeddus and two clerics. Minimally worn. 27 x 34.5 cm (extended). Back with remains of floral frame ornaments. 27 x 34.5 cm (opened). The central panel shows Our Lady with the Child, flanked by the archangels Michael and Gabriel, with nine apostles appearing below. The left wing shows the resurrection of Christ, three apostles and St. George the dragon slayer. The right wing depicts the crucifixion of Christ with Mary and John in the typical mourning posture. The cross is flanked by the two thieves. Below them is a reproduction of St. Manfa Qeddus and two clergymen. Min. rubbing.
