A southern German silver mounted coconut cup, 17th/19th century
Cast, chased, punched and chased and partly gilded silver. On a fine vermeil renaissance plinth with surrounding decorative decor and mascarone the later coconut, also mounted in silver. Closing elliptical wall, partly engraved. Signs of age. Silver partially bumped. Gilding rubbed off. Height 23.5 cm. Diameter 11 cm. Weight 429,5 g.
