A silver tea caddy, London, 18th century
Rectangular body with broken edges and stepped base with pipe decoration. The wall with chased and chiselled rocailles and flower decoration. Spout with slip lid, the upper plate inserted, removable for filling. On the body Londoner acceptance marks, year letter "P" and indistinctly beaten master mark "N...". Height 11.5 cm, weight 163 g.
