A finely gilded, engraved and enamelled French/Parisian copper snuff box in the shape of a shoe by François-Simon-Alphonse Giroux, 19th century
Gilded and engraved copper with enamelled bow. Backside with button to open the box. Heel stamped: "ALPH. GIROUX A PARIS." Traces due to age and using. Gilding partly worn. Dimensions 3 x 9.5 x 3.5 cm.
