A Venetian lavishly chased and partially gilt baroque table, 17th century
Carved hardwood, painted in colour and partially applies. The volute-shaped legs joined in the centre with shell ornaments appliquéd on both sides. The rectangular table top with scrolling bands and decorative tendrils in low relief, a tendril frieze around the edge. The table top bracket renewed, the paintwork restored in places. Dimensions 86 x 91 x 64 cm.
