An elegant smoking table with a pipe gallery, 19th century Fine, reddish-brown stained, polished veneer. Four curved legs, table top with bevelled corners, two drawers underneath. Structure in the form of a gallery for two rows of porcelain pipes, the lower level with 12 and the upper level with 13 recesses for pipe bowls. Veneer partly cracked, signs of wear and age. Dimensions 119 x 68 x 150 cm. Representative, nobly curved furniture. Rare in this graceful form (pipe on catalogue photo not part of the lot). Condition: II
