Glashütte Original, Glashütte i/SA, "Senator Ewiger Kalender", Movement No. 00101, Case No. 0048, Ref. 100-02-01-01-04, Cal. GUB 100, 40 mm, circa 2006 An automatic wristwatch in mint condition, with perpetual calendar, moon phase and panorama date - with original box, blank certificate and operating instructions Case: 18k rose gold, screwed on glazed back, original 18k rose gold deployant clasp. Dial: champagne-coloured, engine-turned centre. The exquisite guilloche pattern in the centre of the champagne-coloured dial lends a particularly elegant appeal to this marvelous timepiece, which features windows for the day of the week and the month as well as a double window for the panorama date. The fan-shaped cut-out at 8 oclock displays the different moonphases. Whether or not the current year is a leap year, is indicated by different colours in a small round opening beneath the Glashütte Original logo. The watch is powered by the updated, flat automatic calibre 100 featuring a 21k skeletonised gold rotor with bidirectional winding mechanism and zero-setting function. This design ensures that the watch can be set accurately in a very easy way. When the recessed pusher at 8 oclock is pressed, the central seconds hand jumps to zero. The advantage of this construction is that the balance keeps beating when the crown is pulled for setting the exact time, so the system is not interrupted. Another enhancement is the improved power reserve of 55 hours when the watch is fully wound achieved by the bidirectional winding mechanism and the twin barrel. Case: very good. Dial: very good. Movm.: very good, capable of running, cleaning recommended.
