Two parts in one volume in folio (43,5x29 cm), half red morocco (late 18th century) with small corners (rubbed, bit split on 2 cm second plate).
Entirely engraved work. Title-frontispiece [4] pages, including one dedicated to the Duke de Mazarin à ses Armes, 71 plates numbered from 4 to 74. Title-frontispiece (identical to the first one). 2] pages, 56 plates numbered from 3 to 58 including the notice "to the reader". Text of the words of Christ engraved on the verses of leaves 33 and 34. A total of 126 beautiful copperplate figures engraved with captions, including the title-fronts, some engravings are signed by Matheus, Spirinx and Michael Natalis. Copy on fine paper with wide margins (some fine marginal stitching).
