Spectacular pewter jug or corporate mug of Renaissance style pewter tailors. The lid surmounted by a lion holding a blazon decorated with a needle and a pair of stylized scissors surmounted by a crown: "Anno 1763". The body engraved with a motto and names. City stamps on the handle. The feet in the shape of lions. Counter-mark on the inside bottom. Hallmark of Strasbourg, Alsace, 18th century. H. 51.5 cm.
