34-Delft: rare Heshang Buddha in polychrome stanniferous earthenware. He is represented smoking a pipe and wearing a semi-flower tunic. Without earthenware plate. Period: probably 1700-1725. Three Buddhas of the same type but plates/terres published by Aronson in "Dutch Delftware. The Dr Günther Grethe Collection", page 139 + Aronson 2010 page 7 + Aronson 2016 page 39. Height: 11 cm. Condition: old restoration at the top of the skull, restored fingertips, one restored chip at the tip of the foot. Nicolier Paris label under the piece.
