c1952 ADLER M250S Succession of Mr. X Type: M250 S Serial number: 005 Engine no. 005 Collector's French car registration document Same owner since 1981 The first Adler twin was fitted to the 1951 M 200, a 195 cc car with 9.3 bhp and a top speed of 100 kph. This engine set the engine architecture for all future twins. Quickly famous for its raging sound and its demonic revs for the time, it quickly increased to 11.4 bhp. It was followed, at the end of 1952, by the M 250, nicknamed the "cannonball", whose square-ribbon engine (54 x 54 mm) developed 12 bhp and the model was coupled with a 250 cc S version which immediately made its 18 bhp at 6,200 rpm shine on the racetrack. Buyers are reminded that the entire collection consists of motorcycles that have remained static in the collector's private museum for several years. A restart is therefore necessary.
